New Stone Soup is poking and prodding all the tBlog templates to see what tBloggers can do, what they can't do, and what they can pretend not to do for the sake of following rules and then actually pull off with startling panache.

This is Soup's Default template, and right now we're working on template backgrounds and wallpaperings.  Two notes:

1. We've added wallpaper to the BODY, and this wallpaper can be read left to right.

2. We've also added wallpaper to the CENTER COLUMN, and this wallpaper flows right to left.

3. You're certain to notice how the wallpaper interferes with post reading.  This wallpaper test is simply an exploration of the Default template's flexibility, not a lesson in artistic harmony.

The Soup

Stone Soup Part II is an attempt to bring back all the glory of the Stone Soup Blog Forum. The Old Soup took a close look at tBlog's templates in order to help the average amateur tblogger (read: average = ignorant as we are) build a nice, tidy blog with the appearance that you (read: you = we) want.

The Old Soup was adequate, but the world changes and so has tBlog. As you can see, our origins are quite honest, and we are posting a snapshot here--over there on the right--as a landmark to honor the simple ugliness of the New Soup, before we begin. Give it a click to see the ugliness up close and personal.
